Chris Karges

Chris Karges is currently the Pickleball Director in Knoxville, TN, after working as a Tennis and Pickleball Director at the Cherokee County Club from 2007-2022. Chris also coached college tennis in the Big 10 conference for 15 years. She was a college tennis standout at the University of Kentucky, where she was honored to be selected with not only All-SEC and All-American honors, but also and, more importantly, the SEC Sportsmanship Award during her Senior year. Chris transitioned to Pickleball in 2019, has been active on the Senior Pro Tour for 3 years, and has a paddle sponsorship with Selkirk. Chris won her first Major Gold medal at the 2021 Tournament of Champions Senior Pro Mixed event, while capturing the Bronze medal in Women’s Doubles as well. On top of that, she is also a 2-time USA National Silver medalist and a US Open Bronze medalist. Chris grew up in Joliet, IL, and is a Breast Cancer Survivor.

Chris Karges is a member of the Selkirk Pro Team, which provides her with paddles, clothes, and bags. She also  Airfeet Insoles, Acacia pickleball shoes, Yobow massage gun, and Powerhands.
